pics for you bitches!

This is a  pin made for the PBR Crafting Challenge.  Sterling silver, aluminum can and stainless steel pin back.  I made the bezel shitty on purpose…it’s a crushed beer can, ya know?  I might do other versions where the craftsmanship is better, but i had to get this one out.   I wanted it to still look like trash but be wearable.

Earrings,  Sterling silver and Aluminum.  Ginger Bedlam described them as “Baroque PBR cans”   There will be a lot more styles of this nature in the future, made from other cans, not just PBR.  I have some Iron Beer from Cuba, and some StrawBerry Tropical from Ecuador that I’m drinking through.  If anyone has interesting cans that they want to give me, or for commission work, just email me at jenmae21@hotmail.com.

The show was a great success.  There were a ton of people there and I gave out lots of cards and even sold a piece, which I never expect at these kinds of shows.  (that way if I don’t, i’m not dissapointed, :))

I’m planning to start taking pictures of Philadelphia and put them on here.  I walk home from work every day and it’s a really beautiful city.  Especially at dusk.  That should be coming soon.

Upcoming projects include a seashell series of pendants, rings and pins…My summer will be full of solo weekend trips to the beach to hawk my wares on the boardwalk.  I see a white bathing suit…ah, summer….

I already hear lots and lots of birds chirping outside…it’s coming…warmth and sun.  Anyway, thanks for looking.  Comments are always appreciated.  Have a lovely month of March.
