A very cold day in January.

In the past, I have found it miserable to be alive in Winter.  This year has so far proven to be very different.  This season has been vigorous.  Feeling the cold burning my cheeks has felt more enlivening than depressing.  Singing with friends, going to parties, eating good food.  I do not remember a winter better than this.

I am working on making wearable pieces for the Second Annual PBR Crafting Challenge wherein all the work sold will be made from Pabst Blue Ribbon cans.  Kitschy?  Trite?  yes. yes.  Hence, the name of my blog is Heathen Jeweler.  I embrace a gentle, kind-hearted irreverance for my craft. We often take ourselves too seriously and for this view, I accept that I will be oftentimes left out of certain circles.  You know who you are, and I love you just the same.  We must all take different stands.  So, where would we be without each other to antagonize?

There will be 4-5 bands, free PBR, and a PBR loving crowd.
~Saturday February 27th~
The show will run from 3pm – 10pm

It will be held at the BEAUTIFUL 2424 Studios,

2424 York Street, Philadelphia

I would like to thank Francesco Tripoli, an old high school classmate, for inadvertantly inspiring me to start this blog.  Please also visit his excellent new blog at:  http://kitchenvagabond.wordpress.com/
